Pokerstars 40 Billionth Hand Promotions

Pokerstars.com is currently getting ready to deal their 40 billionth online poker hand!  This is a HUGE milestone for the site, and if anyone remembers the 20 Billionth hand promotions you will know there is going to be a ton of added value.

Here is a list of some of the special promotions going on for this event:

FIRST DEPOSIT FREEROLLS

Make your first ever deposit using marketing code FUZIONPOKER and the deposit bonus code F40 and you’ll be able to play in as many  ‘$1,000 First Deposit Freerolls’ as you like. There will be five per day from February 14-21, with a combined value of $40,000! Also, you will receive their 100% up to $600 first deposit bonus (conditions apply).

RING GAMES

Leading up to the 40 billionth Mega Milestone, starting with hand 39,601,000,000, players dealt into every millionth hand will earn a cash prize. There will be 400 milestone hands during F40, which they estimate will award more than $1 million! Milestone hands will be dealt on any cash game table, including tables with buy-ins as low as $1.

Players dealt into every millionth hand will win a cash prize of $40 for every VPP they earned in the previous 40 hands played on that table. Because PokerStars wants everyone to be a winner, an extra VPP will be awarded to all players dealt in – this means you’ll win a minimum of at least $40. The winner of the hand will also get their cash prize doubled!

On the 40 Billionth hand, players will receive $400 times every FPP they earned in the previous 40 hands.  For example, if you earned 32 VPPs in the last 40 hands, you would win $12,800 for being dealt into the 40 billionth hand (32 x $400). Win the hand and this will be doubled to $25,600!

TOURNAMENTS

* On Sunday, February 21 at 16:30 ET, there will be a special Sunday Million 4th Anniversary Edition with $4 million guaranteed prize pool and a first prize of at least $1 million
* On Sunday, February 14 at 14:30 ET Pokerstars is hosting a $40 tourney with a $1 million guarantee
* They are holding eight special tournaments over an eight day period from February 14-21, each with a 40 FPP buy-in and $40,000 prize pool!

SIT & GOs

From February 14-21, there will be 40-man Super Sit & Go tourneys with buy-ins of $1.10, $11, $22 and $55. All Super Sit & Go first place finishers will receive an extra cash prize at the end of the promotion: a share of a $40,000 prize pot. There will be one $40,000 prize pot for each Super Sit & Go buy-in level, for a total of $160,000.

Pokerstars FINALLY Improves VIP Program

Starting January 1st, 2010 Pokerstars will be making some changes to their VIP program which are finally much better for the players.  Players will be able to earn VPPs at a much faster rate, there will be MUCH BIGGER VIP freerolls, and a cool new rewards system that continously rewards you while you play (on top of the current FPP system).

Here are all the details of the new rewards sent in the most recent Pokerstars Newsletter:

VIP Program Changes

From January 1, 2010, changes will be introduced to the PokerStars VIP Program. These are as follows:

• Changes in VPP Earning: New, simplified method for awarding VPPs to players. This means many players will earn VPPs and FPPs faster, especially in tournaments and Sit & Gos.

• $1,000,000 Quarterly VIP Freerolls:  These will replace the old $75,000 weekly freerolls. Supernovas can enter for free. GoldStars and PlatinumStars can win seats via FPP satellites.

• SilverStar status at 750 VPPs: This level will be reduced from 1,200 VPPs to 750 VPPs for 2010.

• Easier to retain Supernova status: The monthly requirement will go down from 10,000 VPPs to 7,500 VPPs.

• Supernova Milestone bonuses restructure: This will be changed to reward players for reaching the earlier milestones. Players who reach Supernova in 2010 will get a $200 increase in the 100,000 VPP milestone.

• PokerStars Pro Sit&Gos: Will be available to SilverStar VIPs and above to play against Team Pros. Seats will be reserved for players from the same country as the participating Pro.

Stellar Rewards

Along with the changes to our VIP Program, from January 1, 2010 PokerStars will be introducing Stellar Rewards. The rewards are a series of 19 cash incentives that are gained by earning VPPs over the calendar year.

There are three different cash amounts:
• $10 – available at (750, 1.5k, 2.25k, 3k, 4k & 5k Yearly VPPs)
• $50 – available at (10k, 15k, 20k, 25k, 30k, 35k, 40k & 45k Yearly VPPs)
• $100 – available at (50k, 60k, 70k, 80k & 90k Yearly VPPs)

A player that reaches 90k Yearly VPPs in 2010 will earn the maximum of $1,000. This equates to an approximate additional 6% rakeback, on top of our existing benefits.  Players will be able to track how close they are to each cash credit through the client as the milestones will be integrated into the PokerStars software. Once a milestone is reached, the cash credits may be purchased from the VIP Store for 1 FPP each.

While this will inevitably increase player costs, we believe it will increase player lifespan, and thus increase average player value. The net
result will be a better deal for the players and improved revenue for PokerStars and their Partners.

Pokerstars Adds Fractional FPPs

For the longest time, microstakes players would lose out big on collecting FPPs at Pokerstars. This made it impossible to clear bonuses on the site at the lower stakes games because they would only award full FPPs if the rake reached a certain amount. Well, the good news is this has now changed. Starting about a week ago Pokerstars now offers fractional FPPs to players in lower stakes games. Here is an excerpt from a press release sent out by Pokerstars:

Fractional FPPs
Just wanted to let you know that we now have (5x) fractional FPPs for all micro limit games now.

This means that we award a VPP to the table for every 20c in rake, and those VPPs are divided equally between everyone that was dealt in.

e.g. If we play a four handed cash game where there’s 40c in rake in a hand, we’d each get 0.5 VPP.

This means it is even easier for players to earn FPPs and thus easier for them to reach the qualification criteria and you to be paid!”

So, if you have been holding off signing up for Pokerstars because you thought it was impossible to clear the bonus, this is no longer the case.  Sign-up and receive a 100% up to $600 bonus when you use the pokerstars marketing code FUZIONPOKER.

Transfer CHIPS from Site to Site

Lets say your account at Cake Poker isn’t fairing so good, but your roll on Full Tilt is growing nicely.  You want to reload your Cake account, but don’t have the funds to do it with,  and don’t want the hassle or inconvenience of cashing out some Full Tilt dollars, then wait to reload Cake.  Its time consuming and can be expensive with all fees associated with it.

Well, now you can transfer your CHIPS instead of  CASH from one site to another without having to access new monies to do it with.

Welcome to POKER CHIP TRANSFERS at  http://www.sendmychips.com/sendMychipsApp_core.LassoApp

This site allows you the ability to transfer CHIPS from one site to another, for a small fee of course, (looks to be about 10%, but not positive about that so don’t quote me) without risk to either of your accounts.  Simply register an account and choose where to transfer from, where to transfer to, and how much you want to transfer.  In a few moments, your accounts at both sites are updated, and you can spread your roll between them better.

Security measures are in place to ensure a safe transfer occurs efficiently, and that all transactions are legitimate and above board.

Currently, only four sites are participating…CAKE POKER, FULL TILT, ABSOLUTE POKER, and ULTIMATEBET POKER, however as it grows, more and more sites will be added.

The concept is simple, and is sure to be a popular way to utilize your bankrolls across several sites to its most efficient advantages without having to reload from your wallet every time.

The only question is…why hasn’t anyone done this before now?
