Phil Ivey vs. durrrr $250,000 Pot in $500/$1000 PLO
Phil Ivey has had an incredible start for the month of September, and saying he’s eating his competitors alive would be an understatement. Seen earlier this week at Full Tilt Poker, Ivey took the other players at the table for over $1.2 million in $500/$1,000 PLO while playing at his own personal table – the Ivey Thunderdome. Players who felt his wrath included; Ziigmund, LoLina, guaranteed376, slaktarn, durrrr and fellow Full Tilt member David Beyamine. A few no names were also present but no matter what anyone did they couldn’t seem to beat him, especially durrrr, who took the biggest beating of the group. Each hand between the two players would have the same outcome – durrrr goes allin, Ivey wins, durrrr reloads.
If you missed these games, Ivey will be playing in this weekend’s first ever Full Tilt $25K PLO Heads Up World Championship, which is scheduled to start Saturday September 6th – 7th. Other big names expected to appear include Chris Ferguson, Gus Hanson and rumour has it, the beatings Ivey gave to durrrr weren’t enough to keep him away, and he is expected to show as well.
