Happy Birthday Shannon
If you check out Shannon Elizabeth’s profile at Facebook and MySpace you will find that half the world has wished her happy birthday. So we are doing the same, although a bit late. Shannon’s birthday was on September 7. It would not be proper to reveal a lady’s age so we are not saying how young she is. But take a look at the picture and make your own guess. For most of her fans she remains fixed as the hot Nadia from the movie American Pie – who can forget the shirt tossing scene.
Shannon describes herself as wearing many hats. She is an actress, director, producer, animal activist, celebrity, philanthropist and poker player. And this year has gone well for Shannon the poker babe. Shannon is of Lebanese descent and she represented Team Lebanon at the World Team event in Las Vegas. In June this year she became brand ambassador for the online poker room Carbon Poker, which is on the Merge network. Shannon, however, would be more proud of coming in second at the WSOP No Limit Hold’em Ante Up For Africa. Not only did she contribute to charity but she demonstrated that she has both attributes of “poker babe” in good measure. All has not been wonderful for Shannon unfortunately. She was accused of taking illegal rake from invitees at her home poker games. All said and done Full Tilt Poker’s loss is Carbon Poker’s gain. Shannon was earlier with the online poker room Full Tilt. She plays online at Carbon Poker with a bounty on her head. She even blogs at their web site.
But it has been a great birthday for Shannon from all the Tweets she has received. The first one was from her cousin and Emmy award winning television anchor Tamsen Fadal, who added, “…love having my cuz back in town!! ! can’t wait to see you….” And the two cousins did meet up for shopping later that day. Other friends of Shannon who Tweeted their greetings were Chelsia Hart and Cheryl Burke. Shannon responded to all those who had wished her with “Late, late night last night – had a great birthday! Thanks again for all the amazing birthday wishes!! Woke up late – rushing to a lunch now.”
