Sara Underwood in Bounty Tournament
Sara Underwood was the 2007 Playboy Playmate of the Year and is currently the poker babe at Victory Poker. She is doing her job at Victory Poker well. She graced their poker table clad only with the ace of hearts and two strategically placed chips. She is also testing out the applicants for their Poker Playboy title by going out on dates with them. But she also has poker duties to perform and she appeared in the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge.
This is a bounty tournament in which celebrity poker players have a bounty on their head. Poker babe Sara is one of these. The other celebrity bounties in the Million Dollar Challenge include Dancing with the Stars’ Brooke Burke, NFL Hall of Famers John Elway and Barry Sanders and former NBA great Gary Payton. There is more than the usual cash prize at stake for the online players at PokerStars in this event. The participants who knock out a celebrity opponent in the first round will win an all expenses paid trip to the Bahamas and will also advance to round two. The PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge was to be televised at 3 pm EST on Fox on Sunday September 19 and is receiving heavy publicity on the channel. It is one of the most popular poker shows and will be broadcast over seven weeks. The September 19 episode is the first one.
In her first poker assignment for Victory Poker Sara finished fourth in the online tournament. Her surprisingly modest response was “I obviously had very good teachers, because I’m doing very well.” She was referring to the Team Victory members Keith Gipson, Andrew Robl and others. Earlier this year Sara also put in an appearance in the WSOP Main Event. When asked why she took up poker Sara replied, “I want to be known as a professional poker player who can hold my own at the top with some of the best. I think the key is just really hard work. I’m just going to throw myself in it. There are no short cuts.”
Sara is also the co-founder of HottieGrams, the web site that sends personal greetings through top of the line sexy models like herself.
