Victory Poker Searches for Poker Playboy
Online poker rooms generally hold talent hunts for poker babes. Bodog recently completed its hunt with Amanda Musumeci as the winner. But Victory Poker has announced a mega hunt for a poker playboy. May be they want to be different. Maybe it is because they already have a poker babe in Sara Underwood, the 2007 Playboy Playmate of the Year.
An almost 6 minute long video, which can be seen at the Victory Poker web site, details what is in store for the winner and what he would have to go through to win. The benefits are $100,000 in tournament buy-ins, 1 year furnished condo in Vegas, a 2011 model sports car, designer clothes and jewelry and a new life. Antonio Esfandiari, the most known name in Team Victory, gives a picture of what this new life will be. He says, “We are going to give one of them [the contestants] a chance to be on Team Victory – to hang with us, to chill with us, to party with us, to play poker with us, to become one of us.”
Out of the thousands who have applied for the poker playboy, 25 will be short listed and put through their paces. Again Esfandiari explains the procedure that will be followed. There will be different challenges thrown at the hopefuls and they will not be easy. The tasks will include being hunted in the forest by Dan “Blitz” Bilzerian, playing heads up with Esfandiari, going bull riding with Lee Markholt, engaging in verbal calisthenics with Joe Navarro and going on a date with Sara Underwood.
The last task will make the contest worth the participation, win or lose. Sara Underwood is currently under training, improving her poker skills. But she is more in the news for what she is best at. In a recent Poker2Nite video Sara and co-host Joe Sebok did yoga together. In the interview that followed she said she was turned off by liars and stinky men, which led to Scott Huff wondering what she was doing in poker. The best Sara has done for Victory Poker was lie down on their poker table wearing only two strategically placed poker chips and a pair of red aces.
