Online Poker Sites Beware!
This guy has you all figured out….
For all the folks who scream online poker is rigged, you now have a new hero. His name is Gene Gioia and he’s going to change online poker 4evar.
You see Gene figures that since online poker is rigged (he got tired of his Full House getting beat by bigger Full House’s) he will reinvent the wheel with a crazy contraption called “The Real Deal”. It’s a cool little box that shuffles cards and transmits the results to a computer server developed by his company: Gioia Systems LLC. That’s then fed to the players sitting at an online poker table and presumably, will prevent bad beats, suckouts, and of course, cheating.
Yeah right.
For the conspiracy theorists out there I’ve got news for you. Online poker is NOT rigged. This 1.1 million dollar box he’s built will come and go. Online poker as we know it is going nowhere. For starters the damn thing is sure to cut down on the number of hands you can play in hour. Let’s see, I can play online and have it take as long as a live dealer using a shuffler? No Thanks.
I’ll stick with online poker. Rigged or not.
