Poker Player Up For Mom of the Year
Ever wish your mom understood poker a little more, or even played the game? Well be glad her name is not Diem Thi Tran.
Tran was recently ordered by the courts to take parenting classes and pay $450 in fines after she left her kids in the car, while she played a charity poker tournament.
The poker mom‘s three children aged 5, 10 and 15 were found in her car at 1:17am by Wyoming police while she was busy playing a charity poker event at Woody’s Press Box. The kids had been in the car unattended for roughly 3 hours before they were discovered.
The children have been tended to by Child Protective Services and are in the custody of their father… hopefully he doesn’t play too.
