Poker Smash on Xbox 360 launches Today!
Today Poker Smash for Xbox 360 comes out. It is a long awaited game for xbox + poker fans alike. It’s good to see poker games getting more and more mainstream – and hopefully more accepted.
From the wiki page:
Poker Smash is a Planet Puzzle League variant, or a “rising block game”, crossed with Bejeweled game mechanics, with a poker theme. The player is presented with five columns of rising rows of face cards, including 10s and aces, of typical card suits; the player eliminates rows and columns of cards by creating legal poker hands with a value of three-of-a-kind or better by swapping adjacent cards. The player also has a limited allotment of bombs that can automatically remove cards without having to use them in matches.
Poker Smash will either be a hit or a miss in terms of sales. We will report back in a few months on our poker blog and let you know how it did.
