Brian Hastings Crushes Isildur1

Isildur1 has been all over the place for the past few months on Full Tilt Poker.  From nothing to over 5 million, back to nothing, up over 4 million and down yet again, his run has been one of the most entertaining runs in Full Tilt Poker history.

brian-hastingsThis past weekend Isildur1 was back at the tables after losing back the over $5 Million that he had made in a short period of time at the high stakes tables (the majority being from Tom “durrrr” Dwan).  He quickly went up over $4 Million dollars in one of the biggest sessions ever played at Full Tilt Poker.  After crushing several big players (including Ziigmund for about $2 Million), he sat at 4 $500/$1000 PLO tables with Full Tilt pro, Brian Hastings (see image).  Hastings is not known for playing at these levels but must have been feeling lucky that day and took on Isildur1 who had been killing everyone else.  Hastings quickly went down about $700,000 but was determined to stick it out for a bit longer.  Hastings went on one of the best runs of cards ever and clawed back an incredible $4,206,960 in 2,858 hands!

At one point during the session when Hastings what at his highest amount he let Isildur1 know that he was getting tired and would need to go soon.  Isildur1 was not impressed and posted the following in the chat:

Isildur1: ??????????
Brian Hastings: getting very tired…
Brian Hastings: i feel bad quitting tho
Brian Hastings: would be be cool w/ playing someone else?
Isildur1: just f off
Isildur1: wåfä’qqqqqqqnhjwe4nm
Isildur1: dW
Isildur1: GFE4¨ÅN,K N,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,K N,KN,KN,K3
Isildur1: Q
Isildur1: u know how lucky u are ?
Brian Hastings: yes i know
Isildur1: i can promise this is the worst
Brian Hastings: ill give you 30 more min if you want
Isildur1: luck anyone had
Brian Hastings: but im rly tired
Isildur1: k 30 mins more
Isildur1: take my last $$
Isildur1: i dont want it

They ended up playing for about another hour and in the end Hastings was up just shy of $4 Million Dollars.  Isildur1 is currently down about $1.6 Million since the start of his run back in September.

You mentioned Hastings must of been feeling lucky. However, he had done his homework on isildur1 and had studied thousands of hand histories of isildur1 playing with himself Brian T and Cole.He must of had a good feeling going into the match and it obviuosly worked.

Just heard that pokernews have had an exclusive interview with isildur1 regarding the above mentioned game and as expected isildur1 is putting in a complaint to full tilt. In his words from the poker news update he says
“I was not aware of the exact rule that you just mentioned, but since seeing that it is in fact a rule at Full Tilt Poker, I think I am going to put through a formal complaint, as I think this is a case where the sharing of hand histories directly affected the match I played with Brian [Hastings].”

I dont think hastings should be spending that money just yet.
