Full Tilt Adds New Features!
IT IS ABOUT TIME! Full Tilt Poker have finally woken up and fixed their stupid little sliding bar for betting during poker games. I really don’t know what took so long, but the new bet slider is WAY BETTER and doesn’t automatically make your bet 10x higher than you originally intended.
I don’t know how many times I lost money because of the old bar. There are countless times where I went to make my standard raise, then the bar screwed me up and went higher. Instead of trying to correct it, I usually just went with the slightly inflated bet, only to get screwed over by a reraise or something else, because my opponent thought this was a sign of weakness.
Anyway, the new bar is much easier to use, and slides over much slower and in smaller incremements. It went out in the software update this morning, so if you haven’t seen it yet, here is a screenshot:
The bet slider wasn’t the only update though! Here are some of the other cool new features that went out with today’s update:
Late registration. Registration for most tournaments will now remain open through the first blind level.
“Display Table on Action.” This new option allows you to stop tables from popping to the foreground when it’s your turn to act. Instead, any table requiring action will just blink in your task bar.
Hotkeys for certain options. Browse around the menu bar to see them all, but one request from here that made it was the “Auto Muck Hands” option. Now, you can just hit “ctrl-m” from the table and you can turn the option on and off.
Random minor changes. Tournament messages are now clickable, the tournament list in the main lobby should flicker less, and the tournament lobby now shows the icons of the various tournament types.
Last, and certainly least… NEW AVATARS!
