Joe Navarro on Russ Hamilton Video
Thanks to some great reporting by RawVegas.tv, they managed to capture one of poker’s most hated people, Russ Hamilton, on video. If you aren’t familiar with Russ Hamilton, he is the person that the Kahnawake Commission said was “the main person responsible for and benefiting from the multiple cheating incidents” at Ultimate Bet Poker. This was an amazing feat in itself, but then they took it one step further and got an ex-FBI agent to analyze the video.
The agent’s name is Joe Navarro, who is well known in the poker community for some of the books that he has contributed to, or written himself. According to his website, “Joe Navarro spent over twenty-five years with the FBI, working both as an agent and as a supervisor in the area of counterintelligence and counterterrorism.
Through his work, he has become one of the foremost authorities on reading the nonverbal communications that human beings exhibit when they are lying.”
