Pokerstars Hypernova?
Rumours are flying accross poker forum’s that PokerStars may be adding a VIP level even higher than super-nova elite called: HyperNova. This is for players that play so much poker you wonder if they ever actually sleep. Details of this level are rumoured to include:
- Hypernova players earn fpps at a rate of 8 for every 1 vpp.
- 3 000 000 vpps needed to reach hypernova.
- Other bonuses not yet announced
Some things that might also be good for players at this level:
- A day off where they would earn there standard daily rate and FPPs, but they wouldn’t have to log into Pokerstars that day.
- A girlfriend for a month – Pokerstars would offer them a girlfriend for the month from an online catologue that the player could choose his favorite.
- Friends – The Hypernova player would receive 3 people to come to where he plays poker and provide them with some social interaction that 30+ tabling simply cannot provide.
Many players are wondering if Pokerstars will ever change the VIP levels on the lower end. Players raking $20 a month for the site are getting tired of handing over their hard earned money while playing the $0.05/$0.10 limit games.
While Pokerstars is falling back a bit in terms of rewards programs, no other site can beat their promotions or traffic volumes so it will probably be a while before anything is changed at the lower levels. Also the $50 free at sign-up isn’t bad for those low stakers also.

From super nova to hyper-nova. Is there any superior word for that game?
