TV Poker has a New Attention Whore: Hannah Elisabeth
Move over Annie Duke. Hannah Elisabeth (Hannah Montana at 75) is the new Queen of attention whoring. It’s only 8 minutes into tonight’s broadcast of the WSOP Main Event on ESPN and this haggard looking chick is at the television table. An ex actress-turned poker pro (that means she’s unemployed) this chick is a cross between Tammy Faye in her better days and some whiny Jewish mother in law. The horror!
Clearly looking to somehow parlay her 15 minutes of fame at the television table, she’s chatting it up non-stop. Telling Chau Giang how intimidating he is, mucking her cards and patting herself on the back. If she were at least younger. And hotter. And slimmer (no cottage cheese on the arms!), then perhaps we could tolerate some of this. At least for a minute they flashed another bimbo, Vanessa Rousso , who unfortunately didn’t get seated at the TV table.
Back to the Grandmother at the table – she’s now singing a song. Now she’s saying: “It’s good to be a Chau”. Good to be a Chau? So now he’s a friggin noun?
Fast forward to about the 20 minute mark, this lady finally gets her remaining chips in with pocket Jacks against some fat dude holding Ace King. I swear I’ve never rooted for some random dude to win a race more than this one. The King hit the river and she didn’t improve. Buh Bye Hannah. I’m sure the Flamingo Hilton is hosting a slots tournament or something…

Hmmmm…. I think this is the same Hannah Elisabeth that I used to know many years ago. I hope she reads this, because she will remember “The Sixties Show” CD she released in 1999!
