The Aches and Pains of Evelyn Ng
In a strange coincidence last week, Evelyn Ng and her boyfriend of less than two years, Lex RaSZi Veldhuis, got hurt on the same day. They were not fighting each other. It happened when Evelyn was in Holland at Lex’s home. In her latest vblog, Evelyn says, “Lex’s home has really scary tiny dangerous stairs.” She knew as soon as she saw them that she would fall down them. And that is exactly what happened. One day she was getting down the stairs with stuff in her hands so that she could not go to the handrail. She fell on her tailbone on the fourth stair from the bottom. She then bounced down each one of the remaining stairs hitting her tailbone hard each time. Fortunately she broke no bone but was in severe pain. Evelyn has been learning how to speak Dutch to better communicate with her boyfriend. One thing she learned after her mishap was that the Dutch word for tailbone is bouncer. In her vblog she said that everyone in Holland understands bouncer. Even when she told a doctor that she had hurt her bouncer he knew exactly where she was aching. Evelyn tweeted, “If having a tailbone is not some kind of biological necessity, I’d consider having mine removed just so I couldn’t hurt it again”
Unfortunately Lex was not as lucky. He had made a prop bet with another PokerStars Pro on a kickboxing match to be held during WSOP. While he was in training, the trainer accidentally kicked him on the ribs. Lex broke four of them and is also suffering from a consequent infection. So Evelyn said that she and Lex are like “grumpy old people complaining how our parts were not working like they used to.” In thirty or forty years they probably would be making the same complaint to each other, if they are still together, only they may be referring to different parts.
Evelyn ended her vblog by saying that Bodog had completed its selection of the new female poker pro and given Bodog’s reputation she would definitely be easy on the eyes. But with Evelyn representing Bodog who will have eyes for any other female.
