Ben Affleck Wins PPA Charity Tournament
Sneaks off with Bill Frist to donk off 100K in Vegas
The poker rooms of Las Vegas are only a short flight from Denver International Airport. Apparently that fact was enough to convince corrupt Senator Bill Frist into joining Ben Affleck on a 24 hour poker binge. After winning the PPA charity event at the Democratic National Convention this week in Colorado, Affleck felt the need for some real poker action.
As Affleck walked out of PPA tournament he spotted a clandestine Frist apparently spying on the Democrats in attendance (Frist is of course, a Republican). Instead of confronting Frist however, Ben thought perhaps offering a taste of the game we all love may be the medicine that Frist has needed after all. So the invitation was made and Frist was soon on a plane to Vegas.
Word is that Frist only watched from the rail, sweating Ben while he donked off 100K playing 1/2K Limit Omaha at The Bellagio. He was allegedly spotted putting twenty bucks into a video poker machine but his team was quick to rebuff that statement saying “Mr. Frist thought it was an ATM machine”….
